Wholesale Logistics and Inventory Manager

Our client, a contemporary fashion & accessories brand, is hiring a Wholesale Logistics and Inventory Manager to join their team onsite at their Brooklyn Warehouse. This is a temporary role with potential to become permanent after 3 months based on performance and the needs of the business. This role is central to optimizing order fulfillment, maintaining inventory integrity, and ensuring compliance with retailer requirements. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong operator with a passion for building efficient systems, developing teams, and ensuring every shipment meets the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness.

Job Duties Include:

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics for all wholesale shipments, ensuring on-time, accurate, and compliant delivery
  • Develop SOPs and fulfillment workflows tailored to retailer requirements
  • Manage daily shipment planning, status updates, and issue resolution across internal and external stakeholders
  • Utilize systems such as EDI, ASN, NetSuite (or similar ERP), and vendor portals to manage and track shipments
  • Own the daily wholesale logistics calendar and workload planning
  • Manage, train, and coach warehouse-facing team members involved in wholesale operations
  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration and support continuous improvement across processes
  • Act as the main point of contact for wholesale logistics across the business and with external retail partners
  • Process and manage EDI orders from PO receipt through final shipment
  • Ensure adherence to all routing guides, vendor manuals, and compliance requirements across wholesale accounts
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive improvements based on real-time feedback from operations and partners
  • Track KPIs and performance metrics to monitor efficiency and quality of execution
  • Oversee inventory control functions including receiving, transfers, replenishment, and reconciliation
  • Ensure all inventory workflows are optimized to support wholesale fulfillment timelines
  • Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned

Job Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years in logistics, supply chain, or wholesale distribution
  • Prior experience managing logistics and fulfillment for high-volume wholesale accounts
  • Experience shipping internationally is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in WMS, ERP systems (preferably NetSuite), and EDI platforms
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable analyzing operational data and reporting using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Strong ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a warehouse environment
  • Experience managing and developing teams in a warehouse/distribution environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and external partners
  • A solution-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach

Salary: $85k - $90k annually
