Traffic & Purchasing Coordinators

Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is hiring a Traffic & Purchasing Coordinator to join their team in Dayton, NJ. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent based on candidate performance and business needs. 

Job Duties Include:
  • Support the Traffic Manager and Assistant Manager in the creation of purchase orders (POs) and follow up with vendors to ensure POs are matched to invoices and processed promptly.
  • Maintain and update Excel files to track invoices, claims, inventory, and budget information.
  • Assist in coding invoices and maintaining weekly vendor files; ensure timely receipt and processing of invoices in coordination with the Traffic Manager.
  • Maintain a shipment log and match shipments to invoices to support timely project billing and budget closure.
  • Initiate authorization forms for material shipments and submit for Traffic Manager approval.
  • Track and log claims, including scanning and linking claim documents to Excel files, to ensure accurate loss value reporting.
  • Communicate issues effectively with the Traffic Manager and Assistant Project Manager.
  • Provide general office support to the Dayton Traffic Team, including tasks such as creating signs and maintaining filing systems.
  • Other job duties as assigned. 
Job Qualifications Include:
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to analyze data, and excellent organizational/time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning ERP systems
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with vendors, internal teams, and logistics partners.
  • Ability to maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Ability to identify and resolve order discrepancies, shipment delays, or invoicing issues.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to process improvement.
Salary Range  $45-55K ($22-26hr)
