Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is seeking a Traffic & Purchasing Coordinator to join their team in Dayton, NJ. This role will support the Traffic team with purchase orders, invoicing, inventory tracking, and day?to?day coordination. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career or someone with more experience who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly.
Job Duties
- Support the creation and tracking of purchase orders (POs)
- Follow up with vendors to ensure POs match invoices and invoices are processed accurately
- Code invoices and maintain weekly vendor files
- Update and maintain Excel files to track invoices, inventory, budgets, shipments, and claims
- Partner with the Traffic Manager to maintain shipment logs, match shipments to invoices, and ensure projects are billed on time so departments can close out budgets
- Track claims, including updating claim information in Excel, scanning and linking claim documents, and maintaining a claims log to track value of loss
- Initiate authorization forms for shipping materials, pending Traffic Manager approval
- Communicate issues clearly and proactively with the Traffic Manager and Assistant Project Manager
- Provide additional general office and administrative support to the Dayton Traffic Team as needed
Job Qualifications
- Open to entry?level or more experienced candidates
- Strong Excel skills are a must (you should be comfortable with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
- Experience in customer service, administrative support, retail operations, merchandising, purchasing, or logistics is a plus, all transferable backgrounds are welcome
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable following up with vendors and internal teams
- Clear communicator who works well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks
Compensation: $22 - $26/hr
This is a temporary position. The worker will be employed and paid by PCG.
