Traffic Clerk- Level 4

Our client is looking to hire a 2nd shift Traffic Clerk to join their team onsite in Cranbury, NJ. This role is an on-going temporary position with opportunity to convert to permanent based upon needs of the business and individual performance. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high- volume distribution center, possessing strong organizational, time management and critical thinking skills to perform the duties and responsibilities of this role.

Shift time: 2nd shift 4:00pm-12:30am

Job Duties Include:

  • BOL’s-match bill of ladings, manifest invoice and packing slips to invoice for payment
  • Maintain required logs-call logs, purchase order approvals ect.
  • Combine all same day shipments
  • Prepare paperwork for all export and freight
  • Ensure all documentation is completed properly
  • Make necessary calls for overnight shipments, outbound loads, carriers, end customer, ect.
  • Assist Inventory with data entry, cycle counting, checking physical inventories
  • Internal and External email communication
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Qualifications Include:

  • Highschool graduate or equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant experience working in a warehouse distribution center
  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • Effective communication skills and customer service experience required
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel required
  • Open and flexible to duties, responsibilities and activities that may change; and/or be assigned to new areas within the warehouse with or without notice
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time


Compensation:  $21.50/hr.
This is a temporary position. The worker will be employed and paid by PCG.

This role is assigned to a client company that may provide additional amenities or benefits to their internal staff. These may not apply to temporary assignments.
