Temporary VIP Assistant, NYC

Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is seeking a temporary VIP Assistant to join their team onsite at their NYC office. This is a full-time, temporary role that will begin ASAP and continue for the next 6 months with the potential to extend. 

Job Duties Include: 

  • Support the VIP team with daily operations, including managing VIP dressing opportunities, coordinating sample requests, creating proposal decks, and assisting with gifting initiatives.
  • Manage VIP sample trafficking through LaunchMetrics, maintain showroom organization, track inventory and shipments, and coordinate domestic and international logistics with stylists and assistants.
  • Conduct ongoing celebrity, social media, and digital press monitoring, compiling daily and weekly reports on VIP placements, brand coverage, and emerging opportunities.
  • Research luxury competitors, celebrity partnerships, and rising talent to support VIP strategy, red carpet initiatives, award season, and collection show planning.
  • Assist with collection show execution by coordinating invitations and gifting, preparing competitive front-row recaps, and supporting event logistics.
  • Maintain department operations by tracking budgets and invoices, organizing shared files, and supporting seasonal gifting programs from product receipt through packaging and shipping.
  Job Qualifications Include: 
  • Highly organized, polished professional who thrives in a dynamic luxury environment.
  • Prior Ready-to-Wear (RTW) experience required; luxury preferred, though high-end contemporary backgrounds are also welcomed. Experience should include garment packing, quality checks, and handling.
  • Experience with Launchmetrics, international shipping, invoicing, and complex logistics required.
  • Experience with large events or fashion shows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Agile, hardworking, and able to keep up with the pace and volume of a high-demand VIP environment.


Salary: $25 to $28/hr
