Temporary Finance Analyst, Store Planning

Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is seeking a Temporary Procurement Coordinator to support their retail team in New York City.

This is a full-time, temporary position starting as soon as possible. This is a hybrid role, requiring 4 days per week in the office and 1 day remote. The assignment is expected to last 6 months, with the potential to extend based on business needs and individual performance.

Job Duties Include:
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for Store Planning projects, including purchase order creation, competitive bidding, vendor onboarding, contract administration, and payment processing for new boutique openings and renovations.
  • Track and maintain project budgets by monitoring committed costs, invoices, change orders, and purchase orders while providing accurate financial reporting and identifying budget variances.
  • Partner with Store Planning, Finance, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Paris headquarters to ensure timely approvals, cash flow forecasting, and financial compliance across multiple capital projects.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation for contracts, purchase orders, invoices, lien waivers, and vendor records while supporting multiple store development projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional duties as needed and assigned.

Job Qualifications Include:
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, project coordination, supply chain, finance, or retail store development, with experience managing purchase orders, vendor relationships, and project budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, competitive bidding (RFPs), invoice reconciliation, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Coupa, or Medius.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, and financial analysis, with exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, build strong vendor and internal stakeholder relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr
