Temporary Customer Service / Logistics Manager

Our client, a world-leading luxury cosmetic packaging producer, is seeking a B2B Customer Service & Logistics Manager, Beauty to join their team on a hybrid schedule. This is a temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent based on company needs and individual performance.

Job Duties Include:

  • Manage all aspects of B2B customer service, ensuring customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders receive prompt, professional, and accurate information regarding products, services, and orders.
  • Create and manage purchase orders (POs) from initial receipt through delivery and invoicing, including monitoring credit limits and supporting the Finance team with overdue accounts.
  • Coordinate inventory orders with factories and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Proactively monitor shipping delays, inventory levels, PO follow-ups, and other potential issues to minimize overstock and out-of-stock situations.
  • Ensure consistent service levels and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time data across company systems, including ERP, pricelists, liabilities, delivery reports, and other organizational tools.
  • Work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and international/regional partners to coordinate activities and support business and sales objectives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Development, Quality, Production, Finance, and other departments to provide seamless customer and operational support.
  • Assist the CFO with audit preparation, inventory transfers, correspondence, office files, records, and documentation.
  • Support Sales and Project Managers with new business initiatives, including attending kick-off meetings, preparing for trade shows, maintaining the showroom and sampling room, and coordinating package preparation and shipments.
  • Help identify and resolve issues related to timelines, quality, pricing, documentation, and other customer or operational concerns while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Continuously evaluate processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce response times, streamline workflows, and enhance overall customer service and vendor ratings.
  • Provide flexible administrative and operational support across departments as needed, particularly in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.

Job Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant supply chain, logistics, customer service, or operations experience; experience within the cosmetics/beauty industry is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
  • Strong time management skills and a sense of urgency, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, exercise sound judgment, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and develop solutions that enhance efficiency and the overall customer experience.

Salary:$75K – $90K depending on experience.
