Our client, a global luxury fashion brand, is seeking a Temp Wholesale Account Executive to join the team at the corporate location in New York City on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office).
This is a temporary position starting immediately and continuing for 3-6 months, with potential to extend based on performance and the needs of the business. Candidates must be able to work full-time 40 hours per week.
Job Duties Include:
- Manage the full wholesale account lifecycle, including seasonal planning, market execution, order management, and in-season business optimization to achieve sales targets and strengthen client partnerships.
- Lead strategic market planning by developing sales forecasts, budgets, business reviews, and account strategies while coordinating market appointments and showroom operations.
- Oversee post-market order management, including budget reconciliation, assortment analysis, order validation, inventory optimization, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) negotiations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across merchandising, marketing, logistics, and headquarters to execute product launches, marketing initiatives, visual merchandising, and seasonal go-to-market strategies.
- Analyze weekly and seasonal sales performance, sell-through metrics, and market trends to develop executive reporting, identify growth opportunities, and recommend strategies to improve business performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners by leading business reviews, managing reorders and special requests, coordinating in-store activations, and driving ongoing account growth and operational excellence.
Job Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years of wholesale account management experience within the luxury or high contemporary fashion industry, with expertise in managing major department store and specialty retail partnerships.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, retail math, and sales reporting skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions.
- Exhibit exceptional communication, customer service, relationship management, and problem-solving skills while effectively influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments by managing multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining a high level of organization, accuracy, and accountability.
- Lead and develop team members while demonstrating strong supervisory skills, a passion for the luxury fashion industry, and the flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
Pay rate:$50 - $60/hr
