Our client, a luxury watch brand, is seeking a full-time, temporary Traveling Clock Technician. This role combines technical expertise, travel, logistics, and event execution. You'll play a critical role in ensuring timing equipment is installed, functioning flawlessly, and representing a world-renowned luxury brand at some of the most prestigious sporting and live events around the country.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and dismantle timing devices at sporting and live events nationwide
- Support the installation of event signage and branded materials
- Perform on-site electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of timing devices, signage, and event materials
- Maintain inventory, spare parts, and warehouse organization
- Prepare equipment for events, ensuring all devices are clean, tested, and operational
- Work closely with event organizers, vendors, and venue contacts to ensure successful activations
- Complete pre-event planning and post-event reporting
- Assist with the repair, maintenance, and installation of specialty clocks and timing equipment
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in event installations, electrical work, technical field service, or a related hands-on environment
- Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
- Electronics certification preferred
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting and equipment repair
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while representing the brand professionally
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the year
Pay:$36/hour
