Our client, a prestigious luxury fashion maison, is hiring a Store Support Associate to join the team in Los Angeles (onsite, at their Beverly Center boutique).
This role is primarily back-of-house support, with a blend of front-of-house duties as needed. You’ll keep the stockroom and sales floor running smoothly, and step in to greet and assist clients until a sales associate is available. Our client is looking for proactive, client-friendly team players who are comfortable moving between the stockroom and the floor.
This is a part-time temporary position (approximately 30 hours per week). This is a temporary role that will begin ASAP and continue for approximately one month, with potential to extend. Candidates must be able to work a retail schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Duties Include:
- Greeting and assisting clients until a sales associate is available
- Providing coverage on the sales floor as needed
- Receiving and processing shipments
- Pulling merchandise and putting stock away
- Stockroom organization and replenishment
- Light cleaning and maintaining a tidy, organized store
- Supporting the team wherever needed
Job Qualifications Include:
- 1+ years of retail experience
- Strong communication skills and a polished, welcoming presence with clients
- Ability to work effectively in both the stockroom and on the sales floor
- Proactive, flexible, and a strong team player
- Availability Monday through Wednesday is required. Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is preferred.
- Professional attire and grooming standards, details provided at interview
- Ability to successfully clear a background check
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and the ability to stand for duration of shift
Salary:$23 per hour
