Our client, a luxury fashion house, is hiring Sales & Stock Support Associates to join the team in New York City for an onsite role. This role is a blend of setting up the space, assisting clients as they shop, and assistance with packing up merchandise once the sale is completed. This is a temporary role beginning October 20 through October 30. Candidates must be able to work a retail schedule including weekends.
Job Duties Include:
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, processing sales transactions.
- Handle and organize and prep merchandise, ensuring proper storage, restocking, and inventory control.
- Set up and break down sale areas, including arranging displays, signage, and merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and storage area while providing excellent customer service and support.
- Additional duties as needed and assigned.
Job Qualifications Include:
- Previous retail experience required, preferably within contemporary or fashion brands.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing an excellent customer experience.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience using POS systems and handling transactions accurately.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for the duration of your shifts.
Pay: $23 per hour
