Our client, a luxury footwear brand, is seeking a temporary Boutique Assistant to join the team at their boutique at the South Coast Plaza. This is a part-time, temporary position starting Friday 3/13 and continuing through 3/18 with potential to extend based on business needs and performance. This person should be able to adhere to a part-time flexible retail schedule with open availability including weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Duties Include:
- Welcome clients into the space and create a positive, engaging experience
- Actively listen to customer needs and provide knowledgeable product suggestions and pricing information
- Support sales associates by retrieving and returning items to and from the stockroom
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor
- Assist with shipment processing and help keep the stockroom tidy and efficient
- Additional duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- 2+ years of retail and client-facing experience, preferably with contemporary or luxury brands
- Open availability to work, or flexible with minimal scheduling restrictions
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and personable demeanor
- Ability to take direction well and work collaboratively with the team
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to assist both clients and colleagues
- Strong customer service orientation and a passion for delivering a high-quality client experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and stand for duration of shift
Salary: $20 - 21/hr
