Our client, a specialty retail café, is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Barista in Houston, TX. This customer-facing role is responsible for preparing quality coffee beverages, creating a welcoming guest experience, and supporting day-to-day café operations. Candidates with a passion for specialty coffee, hospitality, and social media are encouraged to apply. Full availability is preferred.
Job Duties Include:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages while maintaining quality standards
- Deliver a warm and engaging customer experience through exceptional service and product knowledge
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the café and guest areas
- Support café operations, including opening, closing, restocking, and inventory needs
- Share customer feedback and ideas to help enhance the overall café experience
- Assist with content creation and social media support as needed
- Additional duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- Passion for coffee, hospitality, and customer service
- Prior barista or café experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment
- Interest in social media and content creation is a plus
- Full availability preferred, including weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as needed
Pay:$16-$18/hr
