Our client, a luxury brand, is looking to hire a Temp Logistics Coordinator to join their team onsite in NYC. This position will start immediately and continue for approximately 2-3 months.
Job Duties:
- Act as the main point of contact for logistics across internal teams and external partners, including 3PL providers.
- Track and manage store deliveries, transfers, returns, and reverse logistics, resolving delays and issues as needed.
- Monitor and report on key logistics KPIs such as service levels, carrier performance, inventory accuracy, and costs.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through order management, stock adjustments, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
- Communicate updates on shipments, delays, and issue resolutions to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Partner with 3PL providers to coordinate daily operations, shipping needs, and exception handling.
- Support logistics execution for special projects such as store openings, events, and other business initiatives.
Job Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, inventory control, or 3PL coordination, preferably within retail or consumer goods.
- Strong Excel skills, including working with formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and large data sets (Power Query is a plus).
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP/WMS systems for order management, inventory tracking, and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and experience reconciling data or investigating discrepancies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with a proactive mindset and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:$28.50 - 33.28 per hour
