Job Duties Include:
- Manage leave of absence and workplace accommodation cases from initiation through return to work
- Facilitate the interactive accommodation process, including documentation review, assessments, and ongoing case management
- Partner with employees, managers, HR, payroll, and third-party administrators to ensure seamless leave administration
- Administer and monitor FMLA, disability, and other federal, state, and local leave programs
- Provide guidance on leave policies, accommodations, and related benefits programs
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and confidential employee records and documentation
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and insurance providers to resolve claims and case-related issues
- Support return-to-work planning and employee reintegration efforts
- Prepare reports, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Assist with policy updates, compliance initiatives, and ongoing program enhancements
- Additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years of experience in leave of absence, disability, accommodations, or employee benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of ADA, FMLA, disability programs, and applicable leave regulations
- Experience managing workplace accommodations and the interactive process
- Experience partnering with third-party leave and disability administrators
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and empathy when handling sensitive employee matters
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Analytical mindset with experience reviewing reports and identifying trends
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with HR reporting and data analysis preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- SHRM certification or related leave administration credentials are a plus
