The HSE Specialist provides subject-matter expertise across health, safety, and environmental programs, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Support and implement health, safety, and environmental programs across operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and internal HSE regulations and standards
- Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans
- Develop and deliver HSE training, awareness programs, and safety initiatives
- Manage regulatory reporting, permits, and documentation
- Coordinate with external agencies, inspectors, and service providers
- Oversee contracted HSE services such as waste management, safety inspections, and first-aid programs
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in health, safety, and environmental roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit readiness
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Certifications required or strongly preferred:
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Salary:$75,000
