Temp Executive Assistant

Our client, a global beauty leader , is seeking a Temporary Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Operating Officer in New York City in a hybrid capacity (2-3 days on-site). This is a temporary six-month role, with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance and business needs.

This role is critical in managing daily priorities, coordinating schedules and logistics, and ensuring seamless execution of executive initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and demonstrates exceptional professionalism and discretion in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Requirements
  • Manage complex calendar and scheduling for the executive, anticipating conflicts and adjusting as priorities evolve.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including agendas and materials.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and detailed itineraries.
  • Handle reservations for meals, client meetings, and team events.
  • Prepare and edit presentations, correspondence, and reports.
  • Organize and maintain confidential files and records.
  • Screen and prioritize communications, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Support leadership meetings and off-site events, including preparation and tracking of action items.
  • Assist with project coordination, deadline tracking, and workflow improvements.
  • Additional duties as needed and assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience supporting senior leaders, including C-level executives.
  • High school diploma required; additional education is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and solve problems proactively.
  • High integrity, accountability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $100K - $120K
