Temp Demand Planning/Supply Manager

Our client, a  luxury fashion brand, is seeking a  Temporary Demand & Supply Planning Manager  to join the team onsite in  New York City.  This is a  full-time, temporary  position that will start immediately and continue in an ongoing capacity with the potential to extend or become permanent based on performance and the needs of the business. Candidates must be comfortable with a hybrid schedule, 3 days in-office per week.

Job Duties Include:

  • Lead demand planning by building accurate monthly forecasts using sales trends, marketing inputs, and forecasting tools (AGR).
  • Manage supply planning to ensure product availability, including purchasing, inventory control, and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee S&OP process, track KPIs (forecast accuracy, fill rate, stock levels), and align forecasts with business goals.
  • Lead and develop a team (1 supply planner, 2 demand planners) while collaborating cross-functionally and with HQ.
  • Improve processes, reporting (Excel/Tableau), and drive continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

Job Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years of experience in demand and supply planning (luxury industry preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail; advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Effective communicator and team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.

Salary: $50 - $56.25/hr
