Our client, a luxury jewelry brand, is seeking a Boutique Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of their high-volume SoHo boutique. This full-time, temporary position is expected to run through the holiday season with the potential to convert to a permanent role, based on performance and the needs of the business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys balancing operational responsibilities with client-facing support.
Job Duties Include:
- Support daily boutique operations, inventory management, and stock organization
- Perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and merchandise control activities to maintain inventory accuracy
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, transfers, client orders, and fulfillment requests
- Assist with repair intake, tracking, follow-up, and coordination with service providers
- Maintain operational records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company procedures
- Monitor boutique supply levels and support operational needs as required
- Ensure compliance with inventory control, security, and loss prevention procedures
- Provide sales floor and client service support during peak business periods
- Assist with special projects, operational initiatives, and additional boutique needs as assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- 1+ year of experience in retail operations, inventory control, customer service, or a related field
- Luxury retail, jewelry, fashion, or specialty retail experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support both operations and sales functions
- Experience with inventory management, shipping, fulfillment, or stock control preferred
- Keyholder experience is a plus
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Compensation:$25-$28/hour plus commission opportunity
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
