Our client, a luxury jewelry brand, is seeking a Boutique Assistant to join the team at the Mall at Short Hills in Short Hills, NJ.
This is a part-time (28-30 hours per week) temporary position starting ASAP and continuing through the 2nd week of January 2027. Candidates must be able to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Duties Include:
- Serve as the first point of contact for boutique guests, providing a warm, polished welcome and ensuring an elevated luxury experience from arrival through departure.
- Manage the host desk and client flow, greeting clients, coordinating appointments, communicating with Sales Advisors, and ensuring guests are assisted promptly.
- Offer and serve champagne, water, and other refreshments with impeccable presentation while maintaining a refined and attentive hospitality presence.
- Maintain a pristine and organized entrance and reception area, supporting boutique events, VIP appointments, and the broader sales team as needed.
Job Qualifications Include:
- Previous experience in luxury retail, fine jewelry, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or other high-touch client-facing environments strongly preferred.
- Polished, professional, and personable with exceptional communication skills and a naturally warm, welcoming demeanor.
- Comfortable engaging with VIP and high-net-worth clientele while demonstrating discretion, composure, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly service-oriented and proactive, with the ability to anticipate client needs, multitask, and collaborate seamlessly with the boutique team in a fast-paced luxury environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (unless otherwise noted by the client) and stand for the duration of a shift.
Compensation:$24 - $26 per hour
