Our client, a luxury fashion house, is seeking a temporary Assistant Manager for their store in Ala Moana . This is a temporary, full-time position that will begin ASAP and continue until July. Candidates must be able to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
The ideal candidate is an organized and motivated professional with strong communication and customer service skills. They should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, providing accurate administrative and sales assistance to help the team achieve its targets.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Client Advisors through regular meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
- Support staff while managing performance, succession planning, and adherence to company policies.
- Drive sales performance by setting goals, monitoring KPIs, and empowering the team to deliver exceptional client service.
- Build and grow the client base through relationship management, events, and appointment-based selling strategies.
- Ensure a high standard of client service, resolve client issues, and foster a culture focused on repeat business and client satisfaction.
- Oversee store operations including POS systems, inventory accuracy, reporting, communication with corporate partners, and administrative processes.
- Partner with visual merchandising to maintain brand standards, create compelling displays, and analyze sales trends to improve performance.
Job Qualifications Include:
- Business School, University or “equivalent experience”
- 4+ years of experience in a retail setting with emphasis on operations, store management or office administration, preferably in a luxury setting.
- Candidates with client books strongly preferred
- Passion for luxury product with an appreciation for design
- Action oriented, result driven
- Strong oral and written communication skills, customer service oriented
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for duration of shift
Salary: $80K
