Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is seeking a Temporary Accounts Receivable Financial Analyst to support collections, cash flow management, financial reporting, and operational analysis. This is a 30-day assignment, onsite 4-days per week in Secaucus, NJ, that could become permanent based on performance and the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable activities, including collections, cash application, account reconciliation, and payment tracking
- Monitor outstanding balances and proactively resolve billing, payment, and customer account issues
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, metrics, and financial data
- Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and related accounting processes
- Partner with internal stakeholders to address customer account concerns and improve payment performance
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting, streamline workflows, and strengthen collection strategies
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, controls, and financial procedures
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounting, finance, or financial analysis
- Experience with collections, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
- Retail, consumer products, manufacturing, or related industry experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
