Temp Accounts Payable Specialist - Mexico Market

Our client, a  global fashion company , is seeking an  Accounts Payable Specialist  (Mexico Market) to join the team on-site in  New York City . This role requires someone with an Accounting background, who is able to support a global company with bilingual skills in English and Spanish.

This is a full-time temp-to-perm position that will start ASAP, with the potential to become permanent based on performance and the needs of the business.

Job Duties Include:
  • Accounts Payable Operations: Receive, validate, code, and process high-volume vendor invoices across retail operations, merchandising, logistics, and store services; manage weekly/monthly payment runs, reconcile vendor statements, and support month-end close activities.
  • Vendor & Cross-Functional Communication: Partner with purchasing, merchandising, store operations, and logistics teams while communicating directly with English- and Spanish-speaking vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate, timely AP workflow.
  • Systems, Compliance & Reporting: Maintain vendor records, support audit requirements, ensure adherence to purchasing policies, and utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP/NetSuite/Oracle) and Excel for reporting, accruals, and AP account reconciliations.
Job Qualifications Include:
  • 2+ years Accounts Payable experience supporting a global brand.
  • Strong knowledge of invoice matching, cost allocations, international vendor processes, and U.S. GAAP
  • Experience with SAP & Excel
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
Salary: $32/hr
