Our client, a  luxury fashion brand, is seeking an experienced  Talent Acquisition Associate  to join their team in  NYC  on a  hybrid  schedule. This is a contract role through the end of the year, with the possibility to extend or convert based on performance and the needs of the business. The ideal candidate understands the expectations and nuances of the luxury market, and has a strong network of high-caliber talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for luxury retail and corporate positions, from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Source, review, and pre-screen candidates from job postings and other talent channels.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Participate in intake meetings with hiring managers to assess job specifications, hiring priorities, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications and make hiring recommendations.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the interview process across departments, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Process background checks, prepare offer letters, and support pre-employment onboarding activities.
  • Identify and engage high-caliber talent through direct sourcing, professional networking, referrals, industry relationships, and targeted research.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of luxury talent.
  • Stay informed about luxury retail trends, talent movement, and competitive hiring practices.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or a related field.
  • Experience with full cycle recruiting within luxury fashion, beauty, retail, hospitality, or another high-touch consumer sector is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of luxury and higher-luxury positions, including management, director-level, and above.
  • Demonstrated ability to source, assess, and present qualified candidates in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, ATS systems, and related tools.

Compensation:$30 - $35/hr
