Our client, a leading global beauty brand, is seeking a Senior Manager, Social Commerce (TikTok Shop) to join their team at a hybrid capacity (3 days a week in-office in NYC). This role is highly executional and operationally driven, with a strong focus on scaling the channel through disciplined processes, seamless cross-functional collaboration, and effective creator and platform partnerships. This individual will own all aspects of TikTok Shop management, including product catalog accuracy, inventory coordination, promotional execution, affiliate and creator enablement, budget oversight, and performance reporting. The role partners closely with Brand, Operations, Influencer, and Social teams to ensure TikTok Shop is supported with speed, accuracy, and the flexibility required for real-time optimization.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Own daily TikTok Shop operations across multiple Korean beauty brands
- Ensure product listings, pricing, catalogs, and compliance requirements remain accurate and up to date.
- Monitor order flow, cancellations, fulfillment performance, customer issues, and inventory levels.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to quickly resolve issues and maintain a strong customer experience.
- Support creator-led sales by ensuring product links, inventory availability, affiliate commissions, and promotional details are properly set up and live.
- Collaborate with Social and Influencer teams to align content, creator moments, and activations with TikTok Shop priorities.
- Track creator performance to identify top-performing partnerships, formats, and opportunities, and optimize in real time.
- Plan and execute livestream events in partnership with internal teams and/or external agencies.
- Build and manage TikTok Shop calendars in partnership with the platform team, including launches, promotions, creator and affiliate programs, livestreams, and key platform moments.
- Work with Brand and Marketing teams to ensure new product launches are fully operational and supported.
- Prepare launch toolkits, platform requirements, and internal documentation to drive successful execution.
- Develop, document, and continuously improve SOPs across catalog setup, inventory management, compliance, creator activations, and reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with TikTok Shop platform operations teams to ensure fast escalation and resolution of issues.
- Ensure operational readiness for audits, policy updates, compliance changes, and product restrictions.
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for TikTok Shop category and operations teams.
- Participate in recurring check-ins, troubleshooting sessions, and performance reviews.
- Stay current on new features, tools, and changes to TikTok Shop workflows and requirements.
- Track and report daily and weekly performance metrics including traffic, conversion, cancellations, sell-through, gross sales, and operational KPIs.
- Identify product, content, or operational risks impacting performance and recommend actionable solutions.
- Share clear, concise performance summaries with cross-functional partners and leadership, and propose real-time optimizations.
Job Qualifications Include:
- 6+ years of experience in eCommerce, marketplace, or social commerce with hands-on operational ownership.
- At least 1 year of experience managing TikTok Shop or a comparable social commerce or marketplace platform.
- Background working with beauty or CPG brands strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce operations, including catalog management, inventory flow, order management, fulfillment, and compliance.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, social, and customer service teams.
- Highly organized with comfort managing detailed workflows and multiple priorities.
- Analytical and solution-oriented, with the ability to identify issues and drive improvements.
Salary: $120k – $130k
