Senior Tax Analyst

Our client, an Italian luxury fashion brand, is hiring a Senior Tax Analyst to join the team in New York City on a hybrid schedule. This is a full-time position that would report into the CFO and start as soon as possible.

Job Duties Include:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all tax audits by federal, state, and local agencies
  • Gather all necessary documentation and provide it to external consultants for the preparation and filing of corporate and business income tax returns, sales tax returns, personal property, and business tax returns for all company assets
  • Advise on tax implications of new business ventures, such as brand acquisitions, international expansion, or new retail locations
  • Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized tax records and documentation


Job Qualifications Include:

  • 4+ years of experience with indirect tax
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, (CPA) preferred but not a must
  • Experience in luxury retail or fashion industry is ideal
  • Expertise in tax preparation and accounting software such as SAP and Avalara
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling

Salary: $120k + benefits
