Senior People Program Manager

Our client, a wellness brand, is seeking a Senior People Program Manager to drive the execution of high-impact HR and organizational initiatives. This contract role is based in NYC and follows a hybrid schedule, with three days onsite and two days remote each week. This hands-on position is focused on project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and operational execution, supporting transformational People programs across a fast-paced organization.
Job Duties Include:
  • Lead the execution of complex People and HR programs across multiple workstreams
  • Develop project plans, governance structures, timelines, trackers, and implementation materials
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and on-time project delivery
  • Support workforce planning, organizational change, transformation, and operational initiatives
  • Drive HR system implementations, process improvements, and People Operations programs
  • Facilitate project reviews, milestone tracking, risk management, and status reporting
  • Create sustainable documentation, templates, playbooks, and operational processes
  • Support organizational growth, expansion, integration, and change management projects
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, Technology, and business leadership teams to execute key initiatives
  • Contribute to People team planning cycles and ongoing operational improvements
Job Qualifications Include:
  • 4+ years of People Program Management, HR Program Management, HR Operations, or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Proven success managing complex, cross-functional HR or organizational initiatives
  • Strong project management and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience supporting organizational transformation, scaling, workforce planning, or change management initiatives
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Experience developing executive-ready documentation, presentations, and reporting materials
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with a hands-on, execution-focused approach
  • Experience with HR technology implementations, HR operations, or organizational design preferred
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or integration initiatives preferred
  • Technology industry experience is a plus
Pay:$70-$78/hr
