What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with business objectives, customer engagement goals, and brand growth initiatives.
- Build and scale a new events function, establishing operational frameworks, processes, and best practices to support long-term growth.
- Create annual event roadmaps, planning processes, and budget strategies to support a diverse portfolio of experiences and activations.
- Design and implement scalable operating procedures, project management frameworks, and vendor management processes.
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of a variety of customer-facing events, brand experiences, launches, experiential marketing initiatives, and community engagement programs.
- Manage event timelines, budgets, logistics, production schedules, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless execution.
- Identify opportunities to expand event programming, enhance customer engagement, and support growth in new markets and business channels.
- Establish performance measurement frameworks to evaluate event effectiveness, business impact, customer engagement, and return on investment.
- Develop standardized tools, templates, and reporting processes that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with agencies, production partners, venues, contractors, and external vendors.
- Ensure all events adhere to operational, safety, regulatory, and venue-specific requirements.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Retail Operations, Creative, Merchandising, and executive stakeholders to align event execution with broader business priorities.
- Translate high-level brand objectives into locally relevant and operationally executable event experiences.
- Support field teams and business partners through event planning guidance, training, and execution support.
- Assess future organizational needs and help build the structure, capabilities, and resources necessary to support a growing events function.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- 7+ years of experience in events, experiential marketing, brand activations, retail marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success building, scaling, or transforming event programs within a growing organization.
- Proven experience managing large-scale events, customer-facing activations, launches, or experiential initiatives across multiple locations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience managing event budgets, forecasting expenses, and measuring program effectiveness.
- Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and external partnership experience.
- Ability to balance creativity, customer experience, and operational excellence.
- Experience developing scalable processes, systems, and operational frameworks.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving, and entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly and navigate ambiguity.
Salary:$110K - $140K + bonus
