This role is both people?focused and operationally driven, partnering closely with brand leaders and cross?functional teams to support growth, efficiency, and best?in?class service. This is a highly visible leadership position requiring strong communication skills and the ability to translate operational needs into scalable engineering solutions. Experience within luxury, or premium consumer brands is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, supporting career growth and fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration
- Own engineering initiatives that support distribution center operations, continuous improvement, and supply chain expansion
- Evaluate, prioritize, and assign projects based on operational impact, ROI, effort, and dependencies
- Analyze distribution center systems, processes, layouts, and tools to improve capacity, throughput, productivity, accuracy, and visibility
- Develop and test new processes and system functionality to support evolving operational and customer needs
- Drive standardization and process optimization across the distribution center
- Review analyses, proposals, and recommendations from the engineering team and guide execution
- Manage budgets related to engineering improvements and contingency planning
- Maintain a safe, organized, and secure facility while supporting best?in?class working conditions
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in a distribution center, supply chain, or similar operational environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
- Experience in luxury or premium consumer brands strongly preferred
- Proven people?management experience with the ability to lead, coach, and inspire teams
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels, including brand and senior leadership
- Advanced Excel skills (data management, pivot tables, reporting)
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and managing complex projects
- Strong analytical, problem?solving, and critical?thinking skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
- Familiarity with labor management systems a plus
Compensation: $140k - 160k plus bonus
