This is a contract-to-hire position providing coverage for an employee on leave, with potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. This person will take full ownership of two 1P Amazon businesses, steering day-to-day execution and growth strategy for a portfolio of trend-forward prestige beauty brands.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the end-to-end management of two Amazon 1P/Vendor Central businesses during a maternity leave coverage period
- Own daily account operations, ensuring strong execution across catalog health, content updates, pricing, and retail readiness.
- Build and maintain high-trust relationships with Amazon counterparts; act as the primary day-to-day contact for issue resolution and performance improvement.
- Drive growth strategy across promotions, merchandising, and assortment, identifying levers to accelerate revenue and share.
- Oversee inventory health and availability: monitor stock, anticipate risks, coordinate forecasting/ordering, and troubleshoot supply disruptions.
- Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, and profitability trends; translate insights into clear action plans and stakeholder-ready reporting.
- Partner cross-functionally with digital, brand, and agency teams to align strategy, optimize execution, and support new brand launches.
- Troubleshoot complex account challenges with speed and ownership, escalating thoughtfully and preventing repeat issues.
- Contribute to launch planning for newly entering brands and support continued momentum for established high-performing lines on Amazon.
Job Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 6+ years of Amazon account management experience, specifically within a 1P/Vendor Central environment.
- Beauty industry background strongly preferred; high-performing CPG or adjacent category experience still considered.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort building performance narratives through reporting and presentations.
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred, not required.
- Amazon Ads Academy certification is a plus (no formal certifications required).
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills—able to influence, present confidently, and build rapport.
- Highly proactive, entrepreneurial, and hands-on style with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent project management instincts, adaptability to new tools/tech
Salary: $120k – $140k
