Our client a  global retail brand, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented  Warehouse Team Leader  to support daily warehouse operations in Vineland, NJ. The Leader in this area will oversee and optimize returns operations in the Distribution Center. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a team to ensure efficient processing and quality standards while supporting the company’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Shift time: 7:00am-3:30pm with flexibility to work overtime to support business needs.

Job Duties Include:
  • Oversee and distribute workload to ensure daily, weekly, and hourly tasks are completed efficiently, while keeping management informed of any operational issues.
  • Ensure team members possess the necessary skills to meet production targets, identify training needs, and facilitate ongoing development to sustain operational performance.
  • Manage planned absences and holidays to prevent disruptions, and collaborate with the Department Manager to secure additional resources or equipment as needed.
  • Monitor individual performance across key areas such as accuracy, speed, attendance, and attitude, taking corrective actions to improve standards where necessary.
  • Lead and communicate effectively with team members through briefings, reviews, and one-on-one discussions, fostering high team morale and cooperation.
  • Work collaboratively with other team leaders and management to plan workflow and optimize department efficiency, while seeking continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, maintain high standards of housekeeping, and act as a role model for company values and policies.
  • Oversee stock management processes, including regular stock checks, accurate transaction handling, and resolving discrepancies during deliveries and invoicing.
  • Support other operational duties as required to ensure smooth department functioning.

Job Qualifications Include:
  • A high school diploma or GED is required for this role
  • Bilingual a plus but not required
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all areas of work
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), handheld RF scanners.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel is required, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Proven experience managing daily warehouse operations and delegating tasks
  • Skilled at evaluating and interpreting incomplete or unclear data to make informed and effective decisions.
  • Experience operating a pallet jack and ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to walk, stand and or sit for duration of shift
Compensation:  $60k salary

This is a temporary position. The worker will be employed and paid by PCG.
