Our client, a pet care brand, is hiring a Retail Link Analyst to temporarily join their team on a part-time, remote schedule. This assignment will start ASAP and last approximately 2 months. Candidates are expected to work 10-15 hours per week.
Job Duties Include:- Manage and maintain access, roles, and configurations within Walmart Retail Link for CPG vendor accounts.
- Execute new CPG vendor onboarding in Walmart, including Retail Link setup, permissions, and data validation.
- Build and maintain Retail Link reports focused on CPG metrics such as sales, inventory, in-stock %, weeks of supply, replenishment, and item performance.
- Analyze item-level and store-level performance to identify distribution gaps, out-of-stocks, and replenishment risks.
- Support demand planning, replenishment, and supply chain teams with accurate Walmart data.
- Partner with sales and category management teams to provide insights on modular performance and item productivity.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across Retail Link reporting.
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support promotions, item launches, and new item setup.
- Serve as a Retail Link subject matter expert for Walmart CPG processes, best practices, and system updates.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Walmart Retail Link, including onboarding new CPG vendors or brands.
- Strong understanding of CPG sales, inventory, and replenishment metrics within Walmart
- Experience working with item-level, store-level, and DC-level Walmart data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, formulas, data analysis)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Experience supporting CPG brands selling to Walmart (food, beverage, household, personal care, or health categories)
- Experience supporting item launches, resets, and modular execution.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with sales, supply chain, and planning teams.
