Our client, a pet brand, is seeking a part-time Freelance Digital Designer to join their team in a remote capacity. This is a temporary position that will start immediately and extend based on performance and the needs of the business. The duration of the assignment will be approximately 6-8 weeks. Candidates must be able to provide a portfolio showing their samples in digital design work (e-commerce, social media, and advertising).
Job Duties Include:
- Design engaging visual content for social media channels, email marketing, paid ads, and e-commerce website
- Develop and optimize product images, banners, and other assets for e-commerce site
- Create compelling social media graphics, infographics, and promotional assets aligned with the brand's voice
- Ensure consistency is maintained across all platforms
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and e-commerce teams to understand design requirements and deliver high-quality visuals
- Update and refresh design assets based on performance data and evolving trends
- Stay current with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging tools to bring fresh ideas and innovative designs to digital marketing efforts
- Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- Experience as a Digital Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role
- Experience within the e-commerce and consumer goods industries preferred
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) for creating dynamic content for social media and ads
- Familiarity with tools for A/B testing and conversion optimization
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and web design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, or similar)
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify) and their design requirements
- Experience designing for social media, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
Pay: $35/hour
