Our client is a global iconic retail brand looking for a Quality Control Inspector to help inspect luxury products in their warehouse in Vineland. This is an on-going temporary position based on performance and the needs of the business. We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail and a genuine care for the quality of their work as this person will assure the quality of merchandise from vendors meets the company’s standards according to guidelines.
Shift time: 7am-3:30pm through end of summer
As of September shift time will be: 8:00am-4:30pm
Job Duties Include:
- Inspect finished merchandise ensuring the required standards are met
- Re-condition and/or re-process, when and where possible, all the products that fail inspection
- Inspect incoming damages from retail stores, assess the quality level, and record findings on a manual log sheet
- Accurately fill out and submit daily reports for all inspections and re-processing activities
- Take pictures of materials that fail inspection according to company standards
- Use hand held pallet jack to move pallets and assist with physically moving stock in and out of the department
- Ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- Strong attention to detail with follow through
- Follows direction and take the lead on daily tasks
- Previous experience with reprocessing – seamstress, sewing, using steamers/irons, etc preferred
- Works diligently while not needing direct supervision
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
This is a temporary position. The worker will be employed and paid by PCG.
Compensation:
$17.50/hr
This role is assigned to a client company that may provide additional amenities or benefits to their internal staff. These may not apply to temporary assignments.
