Merchandising & Supply Chain Allocator Temp

Our client, a  French luxury fashion house, is seeking a  Merchandising and Supply Chain Allocator to join the team for a hybrid role in NYC. This is a full-time, temporary role that will begin ASAP and continue for a 2 month assignment.
  
Job Duties Include: 
  • Monitor inventory levels across stores and distribution centers to maintain optimal stock.
  • Analyze product and store performance to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Manage product allocations, replenishment, and consolidations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Track and communicate consolidation progress.
  • Partner with Merchandising to reduce aged inventory.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve inventory flow issues.
  • Prepare inventory and allocation reports to support business decisions.
  • Communicate inventory updates and product availability to Retail partners.
Job Qualifications Include: 
  • Passion for the brand and retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory data.
  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI and allocation system experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills.
  • Self motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in Allocation, Merchandise Planning, Inventory Management, or a related retail function.
Salary:$25 - $30 per hour
