Our client, a prestige beauty company , is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager, North America to join their New York City team in a hybrid capacity (3 days in-office). This role will provide strategic guidance across launches, seasonal programming, and market execution, while ensuring alignment with global brand standards and timelines. A strong understanding of market dynamics, retailer expectations, and competitive landscape is essential to strengthening brand presence and performance globally.
Job Duties Include:- Own and manage global marketing calendars to ensure consistency across regions and key retailers, while delivering market-specific assets, promotional tools, and launch materials within deadlines
- Partner with international markets to collect quarterly business reviews and remain closely informed on brand performance
- Ensure consistent implementation of global brand guidelines across international retail partners
- Collaborate with global trade marketing and marketing teams to tailor programming by market, including in-store activations, GWPs, sampling, merchandising, and seasonal initiatives
- Partner with distributors and global retail partners to support both new launches and core business
- Support international launch planning, including asset timelines, order cut dates, and launch toolkits (PR, education, and marketing materials)
- Track launch readiness across markets to ensure smooth, on-time execution
- Lead competitive research across pricing, promotions, and holiday programming
- Collaborate with international partners to gather and analyze forecasts for new launches, core assortments, and key programs throughout the year
- Monitor forecast changes and recommend actions aligned with market needs
- Share forecasts and reporting files with international markets on a monthly basis
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure inventory readiness, appropriate launch quantities, and alignment on forecast adjustments
- Work closely with international markets and global marketing partners on market-specific visual merchandising needs, including displays, testers, visuals, and collateral
- Ensure timely delivery of style guides and visual assets for new product launches
- Prepare annual and quarterly business reports and support international business reviews
- Partner with markets to gather comprehensive post-launch recaps, including retail performance, in-store execution, e-commerce activations, and social support
- 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, brand marketing, or retail marketing, ideally within beauty, fragrance, or consumer goods
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience working with international retailers required
- Strong understanding of international markets and global retail dynamics
- Proven experience managing global product launches
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities
