This Is a full-time contract position for a 6-month duration.
Job Duties
- Provide day-to-day HR support for retail employees and store leadership, serving as a resource for employee relations, workplace concerns, policies, and HR best practices.
- Manage and support employee relations matters across New York retail locations, partnering with leadership to address issues professionally, consistently, and in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate and support the annual performance review process, including communications, documentation, tracking, and follow-up with managers and employees.
- Assist with ongoing HR initiatives and special projects, adapting to changing business needs, new hires, organizational changes, and evolving priorities.
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally at the HR Generalist level, with required experience supporting a retail environment.
- Hands-on experience with employee relations, including navigating sensitive employee concerns, performance issues, and fast-paced store-level HR matters.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to integrate seamlessly into an established HR team.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll platforms such as ADP and/or Workday preferred. SHRM certification is not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills required.
Salary:$42 - $46/hr
