Director of Sales – Mass Market, eCommerce & Specialty Channel

Our client, an iconic timepiece brand, is seeking a Director of SaleseCommerce  to lead the national sales strategy and commercial growth of the company's eCommerce and mainstream channels. This position is responsible for the brand's expansion within Amazon (Vendor and Seller Central) as well as key mass and specialty retailers. This is a full-time, hybrid  opportunity. Timepiece experience and frequent travel across the region are required for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a multi-year national sales strategy aligned to brand positioning, revenue targets, and margin objectives across all channels
  • Own the annual sales budget, P&L performance, and quarterly/monthly revenue forecasting with accountability for achieving and exceeding targets
  • Serve as the leader for the Amazon business, overseeing both Vendor Central (1P) and Seller Central (3P) operations, including content optimization, advertising strategy, and profitability management
  • Establish clear performance metrics, KPIs, and accountability frameworks across the team
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product Planning Development, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure commercial strategies are aligned and executable
  • Analyze sell-through data, market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer behavior to inform assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies
  • Monitor competitive landscape across timepiece and accessories categories within all channels of responsibility and collaborate with other channel sales teams to understand the overall brand direction

Job Qualifications:
  • Background in the timepiece industry (required for consideration)
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), consumer accessories, or a closely related category
  • 5+ years of direct P&L ownership and director-level or equivalent leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing and scaling an Amazon business (Vendor Central and/or Seller Central); prior direct experience working at Amazon or as an Amazon vendor in a senior commercial capacity strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of building and growing mass market retail accounts (Walmart, Target, Costco, or equivalent)
  • Experience with DTC eCommerce strategy, Mobile/App commerce, marketplace management, and omni-channel integration
  • Comfortable with frequent travel (approximately 70%)
Salary:$160-175k
