Our client, a contemporary fashion and accessories brand
, is hiring a Digital Graphic Designer
to join the team in New York City
on a hybrid schedule (4 days in-office per week).
This is a temporary role with potential to become permanent based on business needs and performance. The ideal candidate is an organized and motivated professional with a strong background in designing for fashion, lifestyle, or beauty brands.
Job Duties Include:
- Support the graphic design team creating assets for emails, ads, and site, ensuring all deliverables are finalized based on the calendar and in a timely manner
- Develop campaigns aimed at hyper segmented audiences, taking product and audience direction from the Senior Digital Manager
- Evolve core branding based on performance, data and industry trends, while maintaining founder vision
- Manage large batches of assets at a time, directly contributing to new customer acquisition, customer retention and increased product sell-through
- Contribute in team brainstorming sessions with Marketing and Ecommerce to develop and execute digital
- Create, prepare, and present design concepts for review; recommend asset styles/formats based on what you see in the market
- Support Marketing team with branded asset creation as needed
Job Qualifications Include:
- 3+ years of design experience at agency, brand, and/or retail
- BA or higher degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts preferred
- Experience in retail required
- Related experience in beauty, fashion and/or lifestyle brands preferred
- NetSuite & Concur experience is required
- Advanced knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere) required
- Strong portfolio demonstrating an ability to develop ideas with exceptional design quality for a broad range of digital/social channels.
- Visual Merchandising Design experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adept at color-correcting/retouching
- Adept at product management and able to juggle various initiatives occurring simultaneously
- Ability to produce on short timelines and able to adopt change
Salary: $33.65 - 40.87/hr
