Our client, a leading Sephora makeup brand, is seeking a Community & Content Coordinator, Social to join their team in Los Angeles, California on a hybrid schedule (2-3 days a week in-office). Reporting to the Head of Social. This role is ideal for someone equally passionate about community management, creative content, and social media strategy. Job Duties Include:

  • Community Management
  • Manage and grow social media communities across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and future channels.
  • Foster meaningful, positive interactions with followers, ensuring community members feel valued and engaged.
  • Engage with relevant content from other accounts to amplify our social presence and strengthen relationships within broader online communities.
  • Identify and develop relationships with content creators and community members to build a pipeline of assets that support the social content calendar.
  • Manage influencer inquiries and day-to-day operations, including product orders and outreach for new launches.
  • Organize and maintain influencer tracking platforms and databases.
  • Monitor community conversations, sentiment, and FAQs, providing insights and reporting to cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with customer service as needed to ensure a seamless community experience.
  • Content Creation
  • Assist in executing social media content across all channels.
  • Conceptualize and create short-form video and imagery that aligns with social objectives—comfortable and confident on camera.
  • Stay informed of social trends and platform best practices to continuously generate fresh ideas.
  • Film, produce, and edit content independently, ensuring high-quality, engaging output.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes and social-first content during campaigns and other relevant initiatives to create shareable social moments.

Job Qualifications Include:

  • 1+ years of experience in social media content creation and/or community management.
  • Experience in beauty/makeup is a plus but not required.
  • Prior experience engaging directly with social audiences and building online communities.
  • Deep familiarity with social media culture and trends.
  • Thoughtful and attentive approach to shaping an online presence, understanding what drives engagement and resonance.
  • Strong visual sensibility and ability to maintain a cohesive aesthetic across content.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and organized; able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.

Salary: 70k + bonus
