Our client, a textiles company, is seeking a full-time Temporary Customer Service Specialist
for their team in New York City.
This role will be responsible as the primary point of contact for clients and showroom partners, delivering exceptional service while ensuring seamless communication and coordination across multiple departments.
Job Responsibilities
- Respond to a high volume of phone calls, emails, and web chat inquiries
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned showroom partners to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Provide accurate product information, inventory availability, and guidance on company processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering professional, timely, and personalized support
- Process customer orders, product reservations, sample requests, book requests, and new account registrations
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain customer records within company systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify solutions and improve the customer experience
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while managing sensitive customer situations
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or client support experience required
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment is highly preferred
- Strong data entry and typing skills with excellent accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Pay: $25/hour
