Our client, a  mission-driven consumer app  that connects shoppers with groceries approaching expiration, seeks an enthusiastic  Brand Ambassador  to support a 5-day activation in-store campaign in  Crested Butte.  This role is an exciting opportunity to help consumers save money, while supporting sustainability and reducing food waste in their local community.

Role Overview

As a Brand Ambassador, you will serve as the on-site representative of the app, engaging with grocery shoppers to educate them on how the platform works, its cost-saving benefits, and how it contributes to landfill waste reduction. A positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills are a must.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Approach and engage shoppers in a friendly, professional manner
  • Clearly communicate the benefits, features, and ease of use of the app
  • Support shoppers through download or account setup as needed
  • Assist store team with order pick-up as applicable
  • Set up and break down activation equipment and giveaway materials each shift
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming activation area
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure a successful activation

Role Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of Brand Ambassador, Product Specialist, or Event Experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills with confidence initiating conversations
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to explain basic app functionality (Apple iOS & Android)
  • Comfortable standing for the full duration of each shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused

Schedule:

  • 5 Activation Dates in December
  • Starting the week of  December 8th  (exact dates TBD)
  • Shift Length:  4 hours
  • Weekdays:  3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Weekends:  11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Compensation: $30/hr
