Our client, a mission-driven consumer app that connects shoppers with groceries approaching expiration, seeks an enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to support a 5-day activation in-store campaign in Crested Butte. This role is an exciting opportunity to help consumers save money, while supporting sustainability and reducing food waste in their local community.
Role Overview
As a Brand Ambassador, you will serve as the on-site representative of the app, engaging with grocery shoppers to educate them on how the platform works, its cost-saving benefits, and how it contributes to landfill waste reduction. A positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills are a must.
Role Responsibilities:
- Approach and engage shoppers in a friendly, professional manner
- Clearly communicate the benefits, features, and ease of use of the app
- Support shoppers through download or account setup as needed
- Assist store team with order pick-up as applicable
- Set up and break down activation equipment and giveaway materials each shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming activation area
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure a successful activation
Role Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Brand Ambassador, Product Specialist, or Event Experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with confidence initiating conversations
- Tech-savvy with the ability to explain basic app functionality (Apple iOS & Android)
- Comfortable standing for the full duration of each shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
Schedule:
- 5 Activation Dates in December
- Starting the week of December 8th (exact dates TBD)
- Shift Length: 4 hours
- Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Weekends: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Compensation: $30/hr
