RESPONSIBILITIES
SALES
- Achieve financial sales budgets and monthly/annual KPIs by motivating the team and driving individual and collective sales performance.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with broader company objectives.
- Monitor sales performance and KPIs, identifying opportunities and taking action to achieve or exceed goals.
- Gather feedback from the sales team and communicate relevant insights to Retail Leadership.
- Partner with Buying, Planning, and Inventory Control to maintain appropriate stock levels and maximize sell-through.
- Stay current on product knowledge and ensure the team is properly trained.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring Client Advisors embody the brand's selling ceremony and spirit.
BRAND AMBASSADOR
- Represent the brand by promoting its culture, values, and luxury positioning.
- Build strong relationships within the local community and with key market groups.
- Develop and execute store events, product launches, and collection initiatives that support brand awareness and revenue growth.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the local competitive landscape and market climate.
- Demonstrate consistent passion for the brand with clients and team members.
TEAM PERFORMANCE
- Lead, inspire, coach, and develop Client Advisors to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business goals.
- Set clear expectations, performance goals, and KPIs while regularly reviewing individual and team performance.
- Oversee onboarding and training to ensure new hires understand the brand, products, customer service approach, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure team members maintain strong knowledge of luxury standards, products, materials, and craftsmanship.
- Provide ongoing coaching, constructive feedback, and development opportunities, addressing skill gaps and performance concerns as needed.
- Recognize strong performance and foster a positive, collaborative, and achievement-oriented environment.
- Create staffing schedules that provide appropriate coverage while balancing labor costs and PTO requests.
- Address interpersonal conflicts professionally and maintain team cohesion.
- Remain composed under pressure and guide the team through challenging situations while protecting the client experience.
BACK-OF-HOUSE & STOCK MANAGEMENT
- Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, inter-boutique transfers, customer orders, corporate rebalances, and new product deliveries.
- Train the team on proper inventory handling, procedures, and recordkeeping.
- Partner with Inventory Control on monthly cycle counts and annual inventory to ensure accurate reconciliation and minimize discrepancies.
- Follow audit protocols and manage boutique inventory results to reduce shrinkage and maintain accuracy.
- Partner with Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, Buying, and leadership to optimize inventory processes and stock levels and maximize sell-through.
OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
- Manage store supplies, assets, and operating expenses within budgetary guidelines.
- Ensure all team members understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Enforce risk management policies to minimize losses and fraudulent activity.
- Maintain effective staffing schedules and adequate floor coverage during peak business hours.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, including lighting, repairs, and overall boutique presentation.
- Complete and assess audit checklists, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
INTERDEPARTMENTAL MANAGEMENT
- Maintain active partnerships with Head Office and cross-functional departments.
- Partner with Human Resources to recruit and select top-tier candidates who align with the brand's values, technical requirements, and image.
- Communicate with Retail Operations and Store Development regarding facilities, repairs, maintenance, and other boutique needs.
- Partner with the appropriate corporate leaders to escalate issues, provide feedback, and obtain support.
- Communicate customer, staff, retail partner feedback, product suggestions, and market trends to relevant department heads and the Retail Director.
- Share local market insights and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
SYSTEMS FLUENCY
- Familiarity with day-to-day business and clienteling tools, including Booxi, NPS, Loubilink, Order Management System, Adyen, Power BI, and Salesforce.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as Cegid or similar systems.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8+ years of experience in Boutique Management or a similar luxury retail leadership role.
- Previous experience managing, coaching, and developing employees.
- Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of sales performance, business potential, and competitive activity.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships with VIP clients and increase brand loyalty.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong follow-up, follow-through, organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Passion for the brand and ability to serve as a strong brand ambassador.
- Experience within a multinational company or luxury business preferred.
- Additional language fluency is a plus.
- Demonstrated initiative, reliability, flexibility, positivity, and a "no task is too big or too small" attitude.
- Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Commitment to company policy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, overnight, and on-call shifts.
- Must be comfortable with the physical requirements of the role, including standing for extended periods, carrying boxes, and using a step ladder. The role may require lifting approximately 10–30 lbs. Reasonable accommodations will be provided as required by applicable law.
