Our client, a luxury skincare brand
, is hiring a Beauty Advisor
to join the team at their New York City
location. Candidates must be available to work full-time retail schedule including weekends, and some evenings, as needed. The ideal candidate is personable and knowledgeable in luxury beauty.
Job Duties Include:
- Deliver an exceptional client experience, presenting the boutique in line with luxury brand standards, including uniform, merchandising, and cleanliness
- Actively achieve and monitor personal sales objectives, contributing to overall boutique growth
- Drive results through upsetting, cross-selling, and clienteling while maintaining a gracious and service-first approach
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of products; provide personalized recommendations and skincare routines tailored to client needs
- Build and maintain a repeat client base, ideally bringing an existing book of business
- Support facial service promotions and assist with treatment room preparation and resets
- Perform operational duties such as cash handling, returns/exchanges, product replenishment, and beverage service
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Additional duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- Previous experience in retail sales, ideally in luxury spa, boutique, or high-end beauty
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients in a polished, professional manner
- Comfort with skincare consultations, including applying and sampling products directly on the skin
- Digitally savvy with experience using retail POS systems, booking systems, and clienteling tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Energetic, dynamic, and motivated with a strong sales drive balanced by client sensitivity
- Willingness to work a Tuesday–Saturday schedule, with flexibility for evenings, select Sundays, and occasional holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs & stand for duration of shift
Salary: $25/hr + commission on product sales
