Our client, a designer footwear brand, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join a well-established East Hampton retail team year-round. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on retail professional who excels on the sales floor, supports store leadership, and is eager to grow into higher-level management.
Role Responsibilities
- Support daily store operations while consistently driving and exceeding sales goals
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships
- Lead by example on the sales floor, coaching and motivating team members
- Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and stock flow
- Support scheduling, onboarding, and training of new hires
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care
- Ensure adherence to store policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Partner with store leadership on local marketing and client outreach initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Role Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in retail sales or customer-facing roles
- Prior leadership, key holder, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Service-driven mindset with a passion for fashion and elevated retail experiences
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Hands-on, adaptable, and thrives in a collaborative, “all hands on deck” culture
- Motivated to grow into a Store Manager role over time
Compensation
Salary:$55,000 – $65,000 + bonus
