Our client, a  global home furnishings brand , is seeking an  Assistant Store Manager  for their first-ever U.S. boutique in  Chelsea, NY,  slated for March 2026. The ideal candidate must be available to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Duties Include:
  • Drive store performance by supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and maximizing team productivity.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, visual standards, and smooth workflow.
  • Mentor and motivate staff, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and high performance.
  • Enhance the customer experience by implementing initiatives that connect online and in-store shopping.
  • Coordinate with marketing and other departments to execute launches, events, and store initiatives that elevate the brand.
  • Other duties as needed and assigned.
Job Qualifications Include:
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in retail management, preferably in furniture or home goods, with strong coaching, communication, and team-building abilities.
  • Ability to engage customers with a positive, customer-first mindset.
  • Confidently manage operations using MS Office, G-Suite, and showroom/O2O technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and translate insights into actionable strategies,
  • Flexible, hands-on, and action-oriented leader who collaborates cross-functionally, works independently, adapts to business needs (including weekends/holidays),
  • Must be able to stand for duration of shift, reach overhead, lift up to 50 lbs., and be able to climb a ladder/step stool, with or without reasonable accommodation
Salary: $70k-90k annually + bonus + commission (DOE)
