Accounting Operations Manager, NYC

Our client, a  global luxury fashion company, is seeking an  Accounting Manager, Shared Services  to join their team in  New York City. This is a permanent full-time role with a hybrid schedule (4 days in-office, 1 day remote weekly).

Job Duties Include:

  • Support the CFO with daily communications, financial analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, manage AP/AR processes, and oversee bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including month-end close activities.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of financial reports and submissions.
  • Partner with internal teams and external auditors by organizing documentation and supporting audit requirements.

Job Qualifications Include:

  • CPA preferred, fluent in Italian, with 3–4 years of experience across public accounting and industry
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in financial systems (SAP a plus).
  • Demonstrated strength in financial analysis, identifying discrepancies, and applying analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills to complex accounting matters.
  • Collaborative communicator with excellent interpersonal and written skills, able to partner effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.

Salary: $110K - $120K + Bonus
