Our client, a lifestyle brand, is hiring an Accountant/Bookkeeper to join their team onsite in New York City. This position will manage core accounting duties as well as supporting operations and eCommerce duties ensure business runs smoothly.

Job Duties Include:

  • Record and input daily financial transactions
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage payments to factories, staff, vendors, etc.
  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports
  • Ensure accurate reporting and compliance in accounting software
  • Assist with cash flow tracking and budget forecasting
  • Prepare documents for tax filings and support compliance with all tax requirements
  • Coordinate with shipping agents and assist with EDI for retail partners
  • Assist with Shopify product input and data management
  • Support scheduling and coordination of email campaigns
  • Ad hoc duties and projects as needed and assigned

Job Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required with strong experience)
  • 3+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience (retail or e-commerce a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Familiarity with Shopify and EDI systems preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to balance detail-oriented accounting with hands-on operational support

Salary: $65k annually
