Ali grew up playing competitive soccer and went on to play at the Division I level for Northern Arizona University, where she was part of a Big Sky Conference Championship-winning team.
She also had the honor of representing the Romanian National Team, experiences that helped shape her competitive spirit, resilience, and strong team-first mindset.
