Our client, global beauty leader, is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant Manager to join their team in New York City on a hybrid schedule. Candidates must have the ability to travel to office for a hybrid schedule.
Job Duties Include:
- Enter and process invoices, travel and expense reports, and perform matching for inventory purchases
- Review Accounts Payable reports to identify outstanding payments
- Reconcile vendor statements to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and organize filing and archiving systems for financial documents
- Ensure all payments are made in accordance with payment terms and deadlines
- Analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose changes to enhance efficiency
- Contact colleagues and stakeholders for timely approvals
- Maintain vendor data and setup in the system
- Support filing IRS forms for eligible vendors
- Execute accounting and closing tasks in preparation for month and year end financial procedures
- Execute ad hoc reports and projects for the finance team as needed
- Ad hoc duties and projects as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with SAP or other accounting software is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
Salary: $95k annually + 10% bonus
